Sun 7th April 2pm - 3.30pm

For a beautiful cutting patch, you need to sow a good range of flowers. But if you’ve got a pile of half-used, out-of-date seed packets in the shed, you’ll know that you don’t always need a whole packet of each to get the display you’re after.

This spring, why not take advantage of our seed supplies. On this short course, Jan will recommend the best varieties for cutting, and help you sow a choice of 18 varieties for you to take home and grow on.

About Jan

Jan has been growing cut flowers for 10 years, during which time she has transformed a field of rough grass into the JW BLOOMS cut flower nursery, which today produces tens of thousands of flowers every year. She loves encouraging people to grow their own flowers for cutting and passing on the techniques and tips she’s learnt along the way.

This course is suitable for…

Anybody who wishes to sow a cutting patch without having to invest in dozens of seed packets, those who would like advice on varieties to grow or those who’d like a bit of help with their seed-sowing technique.
