Held in our workshop next to the Flower Field, our courses are relaxed and friendly and cater for everyone from complete novices to experienced gardeners and florists. We keep numbers low so that everybody has time and opportunity to ask questions and get hands-on help from Jan, who is always happy to pass on tips and advice gleaned in her 10 years of growing flowers professionally.

We are currently planning our course timetable for 2019 and also inviting guest tutors to run courses in the Flower Field. If there's anything you'd like to do which you think might be a good fit for us, do let us know and we'll see if we can arrange a course.

Saturday 29th September    10am - 12.30pm

You don’t need a huge garden to grow your own cut flowers. On this short course, Jan will talk you through growing a steady supply of beautiful blooms to cut from April right through to October.

After an introduction to the best varieties to grow, Jan will take you round the Flower Field, explaining how she grows her flowers and passing on tips for you to try in your own garden. You’ll leave with lots of ideas, detailed lists of what to grow and a sowing schedule.

Coffee, tea and biscuits included.

"Thank you so much, Jan, for a superb morning with you. A very inspirational workshop and felt you were so generous with your time and advice. Thoroughly enjoyed it."

Booking is essential. Please email us on  info@jwblooms.co.uk   to reserve your place and arrange payment.

If you would like to buy any of our courses as a gift, let us know and we will organise a gift voucher for you.

We're very happy to arrange private courses for groups. Birthday treats, hen parties, gardening clubs... Let us know the kind of thing you're looking for and we'll do our best to accommodate you. As a general rule, we would need a minimum of six participants.
